Review: Exuviance Performance Peel AP25

A couple of weeks ago, I started testing Exuviance Performance Peel AP25. I was excited to try this peel and see what results I can get with these pads because I love the Exuviance detox mud treatment that I tried and tested before (read my Exuviance Detox Mud Treatment Review here). Exuviance left very good impressions on me.

What attracted me to Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 is its formula. This is formulated with 25% blend of Alpha and Poly Hydroxy Acids, including Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid, and Gluconolactone. This formula is developed by experts to visibly transform skin, exfoliate dead, dull surface layers and enhance exfoliation to reveal healthier cells resulting in a more radiant complexion.

How to Use Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 

1. Cleanse the face with a gentle, effective cleanser such as Exuviance Purifying Cleansing Gel.

2. Apply a Step 1 Activator Pad over the entire face, avoiding eye area, lips and any area of sensitivity. Then discard pad.

3. Carefully monitor the skin's response to the Peel by observing any redness or discomfort, including stinging, burning, itching, tightness, tingling and peeling.

4. Apply a Step 2 Neutralizer Pad to the face after 10 minutes, or sooner if you experience bothersome redness or discomfort. Apply over entire face (avoiding eyes and lips), and then rinse the face thoroughly with water.

5. Apply a moisturizer such as Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex.

6. Exuviance Performance Peel may be used up to twice weekly, as tolerated by your skin. Reduce frequency of use if skin becomes uncomfortable, irritated or if bothersome peeling occurs.

My Experience using Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 

I love the subtle clean scent of these pads. The first time I use it, I did not feel any burning, itching sensation, redness or discomfort but a very slight warm sensation which tells me it is working and doing something to my skin. I was really amazed by the results from just one use. I loved the way this made my skin look. 

After several uses, my face looks brighter and feels really soft. Peel is very gentle. I did not notice an actual "peeling" but my skin feels incredibly smooth. Makeup goes on like a breeze. The fine lines on my forehead and on the bridge of my nose are a little diminished and my pores became smaller. 

Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 doesn’t dry my skin. It's very effective when used according to the instructions and has never irritated my skin. After every use, my skin is smoother, brighter, and my deep set and fine lines are diminishing!
