The instructions that came with this fresh mistletoe says this will keep for two to three weeks after arrival if kept in the sealed bag in a cool place such as the refrigerator. So, that's what we did. We put it in the refrigerator for a couple of days before actually hung it.
When you hung mistletoe at a normal temperature, mistletoe will gradually dry out but will retain its shape and color for up to six weeks.
