It's the seasons of love once again. No! It's not Valentines day! Two more weeks, and its...Christmas time. YeYyyyy!!!! The whole world will be celebrating and will be remembering the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour. It's my favorite time of the year.
I did not do much today. I just wrapped some christmas presents. My sweetheart and I had started it few days ago.
Obviously, I am not good in gift wrapping. Someone needs to teach me. He he..It's alright though, those presents are filled with sooooooo much love.

The Visayans, commonly called in Filipino as Bisaya, are the largest ethnolinguistic group of Philippines. Bisaya primarily live in the Visayas and northeastern Mindanao but others have migrated elsewhere in the Philippines, including Manila. Several linguistic groups in the Philippines comprise the Visayans: The largest of these groups are the speakers of Cebuano, Hiligaynon and Waray-Waray. Here are some Bisaya songs. Music and lyrics are property of respective authors, artists and labels. Please contact the authors, artists or labs, if you want to use these lyrics. If you like the songs, please buy the cd to support the artists and the record companies. ![]()
1. Matud Nila is a beautiful Visayan song immortalized by Asia's Queen of Songs, Miss Pilita Corales. The song is about the plaint of a humble lover, who is conscious of social censure, a lover who offers the gift of a love “more precious than gold.” Below is a video I found uploaded by youtube member itchelielie. Listen closely to the song as Miss Pilita Corrales serenades your heart. Below Matud Nila lyrics is the english translation.

2. Usahay - another famous Visayan song. The song tells about the woes of unrequited love. Hear Miss Pilita Corrales singing Usahay by clicking the title of the song in the music box above.
Usahay nagadamgo ako
Nga ikaw ug ako nagkahigugmaay.
Nganong damguhon ko ikaw?
Damguhon sa kanunay sa akong kamingaw.
Usahay nagamahay ako,
nganong nabuhi pa ning kalibutan.
Nganong gi tiaw-tiawan?
ang gugma ko kanimo
Kanimo da.
Nganong gi tiaw-tiawan?
ang gugma ko kanimo
Kanimo da.

Sometimes I do find that I dream
That you and I are indeed in love,
Why do I keep dreaming of you
I keep dreaming of you
In my loneliness.
Sometimes I really do regret,
That I should ever be
Born Iinto this world.
Why do you keep on belittling
The great love that I have for you,
For you alone.
Why do you keep on belittling
The great love that I have for you
For you alone.

ngano bang kanako bugnaw ka
ngano bang hilaw ka'g katawa
nagadugo intawn ning dughan kong gihidlaw sa imong pagtan-aw
ngano bang dili man kita
ngano bang kanang imong nanay
kanimo kanunay nagbantay
ngano bang dili man kita
chorus:
ang kagabhi-on subo walay sama sa katugnaw ako naghulaw
nagahulat nga habulan sa lawas mo
ang lawas ko nga gimingaw
speach:
lukring, unsa paman akong buhaton aron imo kong sugton
lunopan man ang fuente osmena
isuroy gihapon tika lukring
sa katungan sa akong ah asawa
[repeat chorus]
kalami untag magdulag ta
saw-an tang lami mong himaya
dili unta magadugo ning dughan kong
kabus ug hinikawan
ngano bang dili man kita
dili unta magadugo ning dughan kong
kabus ug hinikawan
ngano bang dili man kita, dili man kita
ngano bang dili man kita

Hubag kaayog mata! haaaa haaa
Hubag kaayog mata!
If you only know ang kaagi ko katong
Pagbuwag nimo nako
Dungag dungag kalang...
Sakit lang ka sa dugha hannn
Unsa man gyud nang imoha...
Palagot sa kontra...
Palagot sa kontra...
Kahibaw baka nga love
Kaayo ko sa uyab nako karon...

Nakahinumdom ka nga imo kung gi itsapwera?
Sa atobangan sa amiga mong,
Hubag kaayog mata! haaaa haaa

(Chorus) last:

5. Gugmang Giatay - one of my favorite songs sung by Ambassadors. I love the voice and the tune of the song. The
og paminawon mo
kay kung pananglit
yam-iran mo
mga panun-paw pasalig ko
Og kun ugaling kalit kang mubiya
di ko kapugngan walog luha
kay ikaw akong himaya
handumon ko matag karun ug unya
ikaw ang langit ug yuta
ako pinangga .. ahhh
oh lahh. aahhhh
Unya mihabol ang kangitngit
nga giduyugan sa ulan
ug sa kalit lang nahanaw
ang bidlisiw sa adlaw
CHORUS
Oh kahayag sa imong panagway
nga naulipon sa gugmang giatay
inday paminawa kabos kong gugma
nga kanimo akong igasa
dili ko man mahatag
ang tanang bahandi
'ning kalibutan apan
apan inday dungga intawon
kining alaot nga naulipon sa
gugmang giatay
ohhhh ....

Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
Ang tigulang bisag bako
Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
Karon si lola nasada nagpagwapa
Nagbutag pulbos lipstick nagmaskara
Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
Ang tigulang bisag bako
Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
Sa dihang naglalis sila,
Kung kinsa gyud ang gwapo og gwapa
Niabot si mama nagdala og planggana
Gibulanan silang duha...
Ang tigulang bisag bako
Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
Ang tigulang bisag bako
Maningkamot mobarog motindog aron molabyog
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, lo, la , la, la,
La, la, la, la, la, la, lo, la...

Emotional Intelligence, also called EI and often measured as an Emotional Intelligence Quotient or EQ, describes an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups.
I found this quiz at Blogthings site and I took the test..just for fun. Here's my result.

I am currently reading a book written by Hal Urban. He was a high school teacher for many years and taught at the University of San Francisco. He is a well-knows leader in Character Education movement and is in constant demand as a speaker at national conferences and school and community events. His book is entitled " Life's Greatest Lessons ( 20 Things that Matter). It's a very wonderful book and I haven't finished reading it yet. He said he wrote the book for four reasons, reasons that I agreed to be true and real. These are the four reasons that he mentioned. He said, he wrote the book because;
1. "we're never too young or too old to learn life's greatest lessons...and the time is always right. I believe, this is true. Regardless of age, people are eager to learn and as long as we are alive, learning never stops. Be it be in a formal institution or in normal or daily interaction with other people or things. We even learn from observations, be it intentional or not.
2. They don't teach "how life works" or "what is essential" in school.
3. Most of us need help in discovering how good we can be.
4. Old-fashioned truth never goes out of style...even with a new generation.
He discussed the meaning of success. Most people now adays, define success as almost equal to having money. As what Wynn Davis said, " Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is in doing not the getting- in the trying, not the triumph".
I am not paid to advertise the book or in any way connected to the author. I just read his book. I borrowed it from the library and I like it. I love reading it. The thoughts and the lessons are actually common and not difficult, the author has just a way of putting all these great life lesson's together, in a way that the reader will grasp and understand to help himself become a better person. You might want to check it for yourself and you decide if the book is in any way helpful or not.

Whoah! the breeze is getting cooler and cooler. People started shopping for the Christmas season! I wish everyone will have a happy and peaceful christmas celebration come Dec. 25. If you will be celebrating your christmas with your love ones, consider yourself lucky. Our love ones are our treasure. Don't you think? If you're away from your family for whatever reason ( work or others), it's alright, you can still give them the greatest gift you can give. Nah! not materials or money. I am sure they'll be happy if you give them that, but I believe it is your continuous prayers that make every great things possible. If you're wishes haven't come true yet, you wait...and wait more. You will get it if you really deserve it. God promised, He will grant the desires of our heart if we believe and trust in Him. It is true that some of our dreams or wishes never get fulfilled. You know why? because it is not meant for us. God listens. God hears. Sometimes he wants us to wait. He will grant our wishes in His time. If not, our wish is not according to His plan. We don't have to dismay though, He sure knows whats best for us. Remember, He holds the MOST beautiful plans for us. God bless you guys!
